Curious Creatures Shuttle Bus!

Nowhere is just around the corner - and we are super excited to be able to share this experience together!

As Nowhere festival organisation is not providing transportation services this year - we at Curious Creatures Camp decided to take matters into our own hands.

We are organising an (unofficial) Shuttle Bus from Barcelona to Nowhere (and back)!

FYI: This initiative is just burners supporting other burners - all at their own risk. So bare with us!

This email contains additional information and payment details. Make sure to read this carefully & reply with any questions or comments before Friday 17 of June - so we can get back to everyone in time.

TICKET SALES ARE NOW CLOSED - BUSSES ARE FULL!
All passengers who have paid for their ticket have been sent a confirmation per email. (check spam folder!)

departure times below ~

We have a maximum capacity of 65 people on the bus. Max. 2 tickets per person. First come, first serve.

What to do next?

Step 1: read this briefing with CARE from TOP to BOTTOM - as it contains important ‘rules of engagement’

Step 2: check out the signup list and fill in your details so we can send your ticket (mind you: there are 2 sheets - one for each bus).
Most importantly: mention the name that will show on your bank transfer. So we can see when your payment comes through.

Step 3: decide which bus you are on (in / out / or return)- and make the payment using the links shown above.
If you can’t use the payment links, reach out to info@curiouscreatures.info and we will send bank transfer details.

Step 4: after payment you will receive a separate email to confirm your seat within 2-3 days (or as fast as we possibly can). This email counts as your ticket and you will be asked to provide this on entering the bus.

That's it! Easy peasy right?

Ticket sales close on Friday June 17th
No payment = no seat!
Also, no refunds. And.. no Paypal (sorry)

If you decide not to use your ticket: please find another Burner who can go in your place. In that case: don’t forget to forward the confirmation email to the new ticket owner. Or else it will just be an empty spot on the bus. Let's try to make every seat count!

 COVID Safety ! IMPORTANT !

  • To travel safe and not get into trouble with the authorities, every person (including the driver) must wear a face mask during the entire journey AND provide a negative test result for COVID-19 before entering the bus.

  • This will be a rapid flow test taken on the same day. Rapid test kits & face masks will be provided for every passenger.

  • Everyone will get tested on the spot, before departure, BEFORE they get on the bus. If you test positive, you will not get on the bus.

  • Do not eat, drink or smoke for at least 15 minutes prior to taking the test - this could cause you to get a false-positive. And nobody wants that.

  • If one person turns out to have COVID, we risk the entire bus not being able to attend Nowhere Festival. So kindly cooperate with this safety requirement (or if you don’t agree, please arrange your own transport).

Other stuff worth knowing

  • Be on time - at least 30 min. before departure. The bus leaves at the times mentioned above and will not wait for people that are late.

  • We will test you with a rapid flow test, on the spot, before you get on the bus. positive = no entry.

  • We trust you know and understand the 10 Principles of Burning Man and will therefore only bring stuff you will really use to the playa and not leave anything behind (except footsteps).

  • Each person can take 2 pieces of personal luggage. 1 big bag (storage below) and 1 small bag (inside the bus).

  • No smoking inside the bus. Also drugs are not allowed.

  • Toilet breaks: please make sure to empty your body before we leave. There will be 1 short stop along the way.

  • Monday 4th we will stop at a supermarket, so you can do some last-minute grocery shopping. Make sure you can carry all that you buy without burdening others.

  • Please keep the bus clean and free of damages. We are just volunteers, so any additional costs will be passed on the person held responsible.

  • Travel is 100% at your own risk. If you would like insurance, please arrange this independently.

That’s about all we have to share. We know it’s a lot to take in - so take your time to do so properly. We are happy to support the spirit of Nowhere and can’t wait to see you soon in beautiful Spain.

Shine bright. Travel safe. Namasté
